Tragedy in Cyprus - Monday 11th July 2011

It's been a very bad week in Cyprus for residents and a number of families involved in the tragedy at Vasilikos power station on Monday 11th July.

Massive explosions rocks Cyprus' main power station 13 killed and 60+ injured. What's worse, is that this need never have happened.

The President of Cyprus Dimitris Christofias visited the naval base and said that today will remain as another “black July day” in the country’s history together with the Turkish invasion in 1974.
