The EU and You - for those thinking of living overseas

EUROPA - Official Website of the European Union.

I stumbled across this website today whilst browsing elsewhere (always the case for me) and I do believe I did see it a while ago. It looks much more up to date and "with it" than it did in the past.

It offers some fantastic information on EU Consumer Rights, Healthcare abroad plus Work & Pensions details. All the things you need to know before making a move to a foreign country.

The Right of Residence in the EU page offers a wealth of knowledge so check it out first!

"It is a good starting point if you are looking for information and services provided by the EU but you don't know your way around our sites.
This site gives you:
  • basic information on how the EU works
  • the latest EU news and events
  • links to EU information on the websites of EU institutions and agencies."

If you are planning a more permanent stay in an EU country, make sure to read up on the Health Coverage when settling abroad pages. It also provides info on Social Security Rights too.
